Education

Dr. Maxime plans to work to raise school funding and teacher pay, expand vocational training, and build real career pathways for District 20's young people.

On the Issues

Why this fight matters

Dr. Maxime spent 25 years teaching Sunday school in Broward County churches. He knows the difference a great teacher makes in a child's life — and he knows what it costs a community when our schools are underfunded and our teachers underpaid. In District 20, too many young people, especially in underserved communities, aren't getting the education and training they need to build the future they deserve.

Solutions

What Dr. Maxime will do in Congress

Every child deserves a real shot — not one that depends on their zip code. Dr. Maxime will fight to:

01

Raise public-school funding so classrooms have the resources, materials, and support they need.

02

Expand vocational and technical training so students who don't take a four-year path still have a real path.

04

Raise teacher salaries so we can recruit and keep the great educators our children deserve.

05

Build real pathways — apprenticeships, dual enrollment, industry partnerships — so a diploma opens doors, not just closes a chapter.

03

Empower both our young men and young women with the skills, mentorship, and opportunities to succeed.

Classroom Interaction

The Promise

Our young people are our future. They deserve an investment in that future — regardless of zip code.
