Immigration

Dr. Kedner Maxime's balanced plan — secure borders, fair laws, a legal path for those who follow the law, and family reunification.

On the Issues

A different kind of voice on immigration

For more than 30 years, Dr. Maxime has worked with immigrant families across South Florida — as an accountant, a U.S. citizenship service consultant, and a pastor. He has sat across the table from families navigating a complex system, helped them understand their rights, and helped them become proud American citizens. He knows this issue not from a talking point, but from a lifetime of walking with people through it.

What's Broken Now

The system isn't working for anyone. It isn't working for families waiting years for a decision. It isn't working for communities dealing with the consequences of chaos at the border. And it isn't working for the people who want to do things the right way and can't find one.

Solutions

What Dr. Maxime will do in Congress

Dr. Maxime believes we can have both security and compassion — and that we should stop pretending we have to choose:

01

Secure borders that protect our communities.

02

Deportation of those who commit crimes.

04

A pathway to citizenship for those who contribute to our society.

05

Family-reunification policies that keep families together.

03

A clear, fair pathway to legal permanent residency for those who follow the law.

Fair, faster processing so people who follow the rules aren't punished for doing so.

06

The Promise

"We are a nation of laws and a nation of compassion."
